This was totally fun to work on! A chocolate cake with chocolate filling. Covered in fondant. The cord and plug are also fondant. The Happy Birthday plaque is fondant, and all of the lettering is hand-painted with edible paint.
Pregnant in Pink!
My friend and I made this pregnant dress cake for her sister-in-law's baby shower! Pink fondant with black fondant accents!We thought it turned out pretty cute!
A fun cake for some of my husband's co-workers' birthdays! I can't take credit for the design, but he thought it would be funny to take in! The mini toilet paper rolls are made from fondant. All of the lettering is painted with an edible paint made from food dye.

A Twilight-themed cake for a friend's Twilight-themed birthday party! I made all of the figures out of gum paste - each one represents one of the four books in the series! I painted the apple and the sign and the edges of the petals with edible paint made from food dye. This was a really fun cake!
Fall Wedding Cake
A spiraling cake with a fall wedding theme - complete with gum paste pumpkins and bat!
For a young man who really likes snowboarding, playing his drums, and playing with his ipod. The cake was carved to spiral down. I made all of the figures from gum paste. The ipod and the blackberry were about an inch tall, and the drums were tiny, too! I love making little figures like that!
A mini version of our friends' wedding cake! The layers were 6", 4", and 2"! The figures and flowers are made from gum paste. The ribbon on the cake is fondant. Oh, and the groom did have another hand... I fixed that right after the picture was taken!
